This year, Parcours des mondes will celebrate its 19th anniversary in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Paris, from 8 to 13 September 2020. Everything possible is being done to ensure the event can be held as normal under the current circumstances. Your health and the health of our participants is our priority. In order to prevent the spread of Covid-19, all preventative health and social distancing measures will be enforced at the exhibition: single-use masks will be available to the public, hand sanitising gel will be available at the entrance of participating galleries and its use will be compulsory. Ground markings will be put in place to respect social distancing measures and to manage the flow of visitors. Everything will be done to ensure that the fair can take place in optimal conditions.

Parcours des mondes is the largest international art fair for tribal art, Asian art and ancient art. At the time of writing, 50 art dealers — 42 specializing in tribal art, 3 in Asian art, 4 in ancient art and one bookseller — are expected to participate.

As always, the iconic Beaux-Arts district of Paris will be the backdrop for this well-established and highly regarded week-long event that brings together galleries from the four corners of the globe: the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Australia, Belgium, and all over France.

The narrow streets of this historic district will once again morph into a veritable temporary museum where art lovers and enthusiasts can stroll between a range of galleries to discover unique works of traditional art spanning five continents.

Parcours des mondes is a not-to-be-missed event for anyone involved in the non-European arts scene, whether they come from the public or private sector.

In a clear indication of the dynamism and gravitation of Parcours des mondes, five new dealers will be participating in the event this year: Larock Granoff, la Galerie Cybèle, Didier Claes, Tischenko Gallery and Arte Primitivo.

In addition, the 19th Parcours des mondes, will have as its honorary president Norberto Izquierdo, a young collector who is passionate about tribal art.
