On the occasion of its annual summer event, Le Summer Break de l'Immobilier 2026, the association La Parenthèse (Art, Wine & Real Estate), in collaboration with Loo & Lou Gallery and AEW, invites painter, sculptor, and performer Olivier de Sagazan to take over the Hôtel de Cahen d'Anvers 2, an exceptional 19th-century Parisian mansion currently under renovation, located in the 16th arrondissement.

Represented by Loo & Lou gallery, the artist is given full creative freedom across nearly 700 square meters, conceived as an immersive journey through a space suspended between memory and metamorphosis, turning the building under construction into a territory of experimentation where architecture and contemporary creation enter into dialogue.

Trained as a biologist, Olivier de Sagazan has spent over thirty years pursuing an artistic exploration of living forms, their mutations, and their fragilities. From painting to sculpture, from performance to dance, his work develops a deep reflection on matter as an extension of the body and on the persistent strangeness of our relationship to the world. Clay, the central material of his practice, becomes the vehicle for a physical and sensory experience from which figures, landscapes, and presences emerge, as so many attempts to grasp this shifting space between self and other.

At his invitation, artists LAWAND and Alexandre Fandard Augier Spindler join this collective proposal. A multidisciplinary artist, LAWAND develops a comprehensive body of work spanning drawing, painting, video, sculpture, and performance, in a free exploration of image in all its forms. Alexandre Fandard Augier Spindler, whose practice lies at the crossroads of painting and choreography, roots gesture within a physical dynamic where matter, movement, and memory collide. Together, the three artists compose a constellation of perspectives in which bodies, forms, and spaces seem caught in a continuous state of emergence and transformation.
