Galerie Cécile Fakhoury (Abidjan, Dakar, Paris) will be participating in the third edition of 1-54 Marrakech art fair from 20 to 23 February 2020.

At stand n°2 the gallery will be presenting the latest works of artists Aboudia, Vincent Michéa, Sadikou Oukpedjo and Ouattara Watts.

Having participated in this fair every year since its debut, the gallery has met a quality audience there, both local and international, curious to discover the works of the gallery's artists in the majestic rooms of the historic La Mamounia hotel.

On the gallery stand works by artists of different generations and with complementary techniques will be exhibited, giving a living overview of artistic creation between Abidjan (Aboudia, Sadikou Oukpedjo, Ouattara Watts) and Dakar (Vincent Michéa).

Cécile Fakhoury opened her gallery in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, in September 2012. In spring 2018, she inaugurated a new space in Dakar, Senegal, and a showroom in Paris, France. The gallery works to promote contemporary art on the African continent. It offers visibility to creativity and contemporary artistic diversity in Africa through its programming of monographic and collective exhibitions, but also through its participation in international fairs and biennials and through its collaborations with foreign galleries.
