INAUGURAL CONFERENCE on Friday 20th May 2016, at 7pm. An event to understand Arab world history and its contemporary issues.
 
Three days of a “great Popular University” centered around more than 60 exceptional meetings by more than 150 experts of the Arab world and its history.
 
Historians, writers, political figures and journalists will provide an exhaustive panorama of the great history of the Arab world through the theme of ‘Religion and Power”.
 
Current affairs debates, round tables, book presentations, conferences, pedagogic workshops and signing sessions will take place at the Arab World Institute from Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd May 2016.
 
The inaugural conference will be hold on Friday, the 20th of May, at 7pm, animated by Wided Bouchamaoui, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2015.
 
These meetings are aimed at all those interested in understanding the world’s affairs and the essential role the Arabic people have played for centuries.
 
These “Rendez-Vous” are a moment of unique discovery to understand the Arab world’s history and its current issues.
