Bernard Magrez is pleased to present the exhibition “Baccarat: Legendary Crystal” until September 27, 2016 within the sublime setting of the jewellry box-like Château Labottière. This magnificent 18th-century home also houses the Bernard Magrez Cultural Institute.

The exhibition tells the legendary story of the prestigious crystal manufacturer and celebrates the unique savoir-faire of its craftsmen. Established in 1764, the Baccarat name elicits remarkable pieces, extraordinary places and memorable evenings.

Baccarat was founded in Lorraine with permission from King Louis XV. The glass factory transcended through the ages to become a symbol of excellence on par with a luxurious lifestyle.

For more than 250 years, its timeless creations seduce many aesthetes in their quest for the exceptional as Baccarat pieces transform each moment into an unforgettable experience.

The exhibition creates a dialogue between heritage, creation, history and modernity as it unveils a selection of emblematic works from Baccarat.

In 2014, some of the pieces were on display at the Petit Palais in Paris in celebration of the 250th anniversary of Maison Baccarat.

Additionally, the exhibition features contemporary pieces from collaborations with internationally renowned artists and designers.
