Applicat-Prazan has commissioned Communic’Art to create and publish an exclusive catalogue for the exhibition dedicated to the work of Maurice Estève that will be shown during FIAC, the international art fair in Paris from 3 November to 19 December.

Maurice Estève has always refused to be considered an abstract painter. His art is non-figurative, capturing the concrete aspects in order to appreciate the sensitive ones and transform them into emotion thanks to his subtle work with colour.

This year, from 22 to 25 October, Applicat-Prazan will present at FIAC, an exceptional monographic exhibition of 24 paintings by Maurice Estève, created between 1929 and 1994.

On this occasion, the gallery will publish a catalogue with an exclusive preface by Germain Viatte, Conservateur Génétal du Patrimoine (an esteemed position in the French heritage sector), curator of many exhibitions and noted author.

In particular, Mr Viatte has been a director at the Museum of Marseille, the Musée National d’Art Moderne (National Museum of Modern Art, Paris), and at the industrial Centre of creation in the national Centre of art and culture, Georges Pompidou, the patrimony and collections of the Musée du Quai Branly and the Musée des arts d’Afrique et d’Océanie (National Museum of Arts of Africa and Oceania).
